The Inspiring Temple of Praise Church was established on March 10, 1996 by a man of God with an immaculate vision that has now flourished into the excellent ministry you see before you. The ITOP ministry is centered around the Word of God, protocol and order.

Bishop Jordan remembers the church’s humble beginnings. “We started out with 12 members in the living room of my house and have now touched the lives of thousands. I believe that unity is the key in the kingdom that unlocks success, peace, prosperity, identity, purpose and power."~Bishop Reginald D. Jordan

Mission Statement

To inspire the world through preaching, teaching, praise, worship, prayer and demonstration of heavenly things here on Earth.

Vision Statement

The Inspiring Temple of Praise Church, founded on the word of God set out to inspire and empower the Body of Christ with the knowledge of God’s uncompromised gospel to accomplish the following: To lead men, women, boys and girls to Christ. To make disciples of them that are led to Christ. To bring them into the unity of the faith. To equip all men with anchoring truth so that they’re no longer tossed to and fro, with every wind and doctrine. To edify the Body of Christ in love. To destroy the shackles of poverty in all areas of our lives. To serve as the conduit through which the kingdom of Heaven is manifested here on earth. To build a Temple unto God that will serve as a worship center for hundreds and thousands. To own and operate shelters for the hungry, homeless and battered. To own and operate neighborhood recreational facilities for inner city youth. To touch millions of lives through the vehicles of television, radio and literature. To make ready the Bride of Christ to receive the bridegroom. From the words of King Solomon, ‘Where there is no vision, the people perish but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.’

Vision Scripture Ephesians 4:11-16 KJV

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
